Meet Dylan. He’s super smart, amazingly sweet, and is the epitome of school pride for Gahanna Lincoln High School – he’s the mascot, Louie the Lion! Seriously, how cool is that? We met up on Monday at Creekside Plaza in Gahanna for Dylan’s senior portraits. Both his dog, Colt, and Louie were able to get in some pictures as we explored the area.
This mural is on the side of Signatures Mill Stone Tavern on Mill Street in Gahanna and was the perfect place to kick off Dylan’s senior pictures. Doing Dylan’s senior portraits in Gahanna just made sense – not only does Dylan rep Gahanna Lincoln as the mascot, but he also works at the amazing Cafe Creekside nearby. And as his mom pointed out, he’s had homecoming and prom pictures taken at Creekside for years, so it seemed fitting to cap Dylan’s high school career with senior pictures here.
Towards the end of the session we took the time to set up and show off Dylan’s achievements as part of the wrestling team for Gahanna Lincoln and Louie made an appearance. I can tell you that taking pictures of a lion’s head is a first for me and we got quite a few confused looks standing in the woods near Creekside with a lion head and a giant camera.
Dylan – thank you for being such a great sport and spending the evening with me! I had so much fun getting to know you and I can tell you have amazing things in your future! Enjoy your senior year of high school – it will be over before you know it!
