When I meet with a bride to talk about their wedding photos we get the boring stuff out of the way first. I go over my spiel and then we get down to the stuff I really want to talk about – their wedding plans. Trust me, I want to it all. I want to see the dress, the flowers they’ve picked out, table-settings, cakes, and decorations. And it’s not long before the conversation turns to one place: Pinterest
Anyone who follows this blog knows that I am a Pinterest junkie. But what I’ve found through my client meetings is that not everyone is as addicted as I am or even on Pinterest at all. And good for them! I’m currently in the middle of three DIY projects that I’m not sure will ever move out of the construction phases thanks to that blasted site. But when it comes to planning a wedding Pinterest is the place to go. So I’ve decided to take some of the greatest, cutest, and most unique ideas for weddings that I’ve seen online and compile them for my brides that have survived catching the Pinterest epidemic. I’m planning on posting a series of blog posts on here covering a variety of topics and hopefully giving out some great ideas along the way.
So far I’ve got 5 topics planned including ways to use your engagement photos, great ideas for you and your bridal party, fun food for the reception, how to use signs, prints, and text in your wedding, and how to spice up the after-party.
