D + L: Tudor Arms Hotel Ballroom Wedding | Cleveland, Ohio

FILED IN: weddings

The bright sun streamed in through the floor to ceiling windows of the Tudor Arms Hotel Ballroom as L’s brother shared stories of D and L’s relationship at the altar. There was laughter and a few tears asD and L repeated their vows, promising to love and cherish each other, in the tradition of the Christian, Jewish, and Bahai faiths. Their family and friends came from all around the world to see them say “I Do” last Saturday and the love and support they brought with them filled the entire weekend with warmth and adoration.

D and L started their wedding days getting ready in the Romeo and Juliet suites of the Tudor Arms Hotel in Cleveland, Ohio. After slipping into her dress and putting on the most amazing pair of custom earrings her dad had gifted her, L made her way to the Romeo suite for a private first look with her soon to be husband. After the first look and the more formal portraits done in the ballroom, I promised D and L we could loosen up and have more fun. So D and L faked a first look, waved from the top of the stairwell, and danced to JT from the balcony. Most importantly, they spent the morning of their wedding laughing together and that’s always the best way to spend a morning.

D and L’s wedding was truly a family affair. L’s brother performed the ceremony while D’s 3 brothers served as his groomsmen and throughout the ceremony L and D had readings from their sisters-in-law and L’s mom.

D and L made a real entrance into their reception and the party did not end there. After a first dance to an amazing performance by L’s cousins, toasts were given and dinner was served. After dinner, D and L took the mic to welcome their guests and brag about the absolutely genius idea of serving 9 ice cream sheet cakes. Literally the best idea ever.

The night ended with a big party of the dance floor. Watching guests bust a move on the dance floor is always my favorite part of the night and can I just say,D and L’s family kept me entertained all night long!

D and L – thank you so much for letting Blake and I be a part of your big day! Your love for each other and your families was such a beautiful thing to witness. We could not be more happy for you and hope that you two can share in that love and laughter for many, many years to come. Congratulations!

Keep smiling!
Kaylina
