When Arminé got to The Ohio State University and realized there was no organization established to bring Armenian student together, she founded one. Through the newly created Armenian Student Association she met Vahag, the man she’ll marry in just 3 short months. She’s also quick to add that she met her best friend through the organization as well, so I guess you can say it was worth it! Arminé is currently going to medical school in Tennessee, but because Vahag and Arminé met at OSU and the campus plays such a large part in their love story, we couldn’t think of a better location for their engagement pictures.
We started out the evening at the famous Buckeye Donuts with some fried food (not pictured, but I promise it smelled DELICIOUS) before heading over to the Wexner Center for the Arts. After that it was on to the usual suspects: The Oval & Thompson Library before heading to my favorite new spot on campus, the Labyrinth in Chadwick Arboretum. I love that I attended OSU for 4 years and have been on campus for photo shoots countless times, but had never found this adorable spot before.
After walking the labyrinth in the garden, we headed over to Schiller Park in German Village to snap a few more pictures before the spring air turned too cold for comfort. By the end of the evening my eyes were watering and my nose was running, but Arminé was still killing it. I mean seriously, she’s gorgeous!
Vahag and Arminé – thank you so much for spending the evening with me at OSU. I had so much fun walking campus with you and finding a new favorite spot! You two are amazing together and I cannot wait to photograph your wedding in June!
