Alison and Drew had been planning their wedding for some time now. They’d booked the perfect venue, assembled an exceptional team of vendors, and spent hours hand picking details for their big day at Via Vecchia Winery. When 5.15.15 (a.k.a. The Best Day Ever) finally rolled around, everything was in place and Alison and Drew were ready to say I do.
The day started in the Westin in Downtown Columbus where both Drew and Alison got ready before heading to their First Look location in German Village.
I genuinely love shooting first looks – it’s such a great way for the bride and groom to get to see each other and share a moment privately before the craziness of the day gets in the way. And these two did not disappoint!
After their adorable First Look at Drew’s Uncle’s house in German Village, we headed a couple of blocks over to Club 185 for a quick shot of Fireball to get the day started right.
Next stop was the Scioto Mile bridge for some fun group pictures and portraits before heading to the main event at Via Vecchia Winery in the Brewery District.
The ceremony at Via Vecchia was absolutely gorgeous – I love this venue for its perfect combination of urban elements and architecture while still feeling private and intimate.
Inside of Via Vecchia the party continued with beautifully styled tables, good wine, and great food.
And can we just take a moment to talk about this gorgeous cake?
Alison and her grandfather serenaded the crowd with “Sweet Caroline”…
BAH BAH BAAAAHH!!!
Drew and Alison finished the night on the dance floor to the song “The Time of My Life” and it was so much fun to be in the crowd to capture the last few minutes of their wedding.
And of course there was the sparkler exit to end the night with a bang…
Drew and Alison, Thank you so much for letting Blake and I be a part of the Best Day Ever! I absolutely loved spending the day with you, your friends, and your family celebrating your love! I hope you’re having an amazing time in Jamaica!!
Keep smiling!
Kaylina
