Early mornings and cold weather have never been my thing so I think I know exactly how little Miss Emma was feeling in November when we had an early morning family shoot in 29 degree weather. Her expression throughout the session was a mix of “what are you people doing to me” and “you’ve got to be kidding”, but there were a few glorious smiles thrown in the mix in between the mean mugging.
P.S. If anyone’s looking for a gift for me, Emma’s cat hat is right up my alley.

Emma’s face is so precious that this session makes me laugh every time I think about it. I hope her mommy and daddy love these photos as much as I do because they capture her so perfectly in the moment and if they want to embarrass her with these in the future, that’s okay too!
