Cake Smash: Everleigh Turns 1

I cannot believe that Little Miss Everleigh will be a year old in just a few short weeks! It was a little bitter-sweet to shoot her 1 year cake smash pictures at Everal Barn & Homestead in Westerville yesterday - I've had so much fun documenting Everleigh's growth throughout the last year! It seems like just yesterday I met Everleigh as an 11 day old baby in her nursery when just opening her baby blue eyes and smiling was a special feat that impressed us all. Now, at almost a year old, Miss Everleigh is taking a few precarious steps, saying "mama" and "dada", and flashing a toothy grin at all times! We started out the session with a few family pictures while everyone's outfits were still cake free. Everleigh was in a great mood and all smiles, albeit a little squirmy - there's so much to experience and explore when you're 12 months old. There's no time for sitting for pictures! I love this photo of Everleigh walking with her mommy's help. There's something about a barefoot baby in the summer grass that's too adorable to pass up! After the family photos it was finally cake time! Everleigh was a little hesitant at first, but once she got a taste of the cake, there was no going back! Happy Birthday Everleigh!
