KJ + Jamie: Slate Run Farm, Canal Winchester {Central Ohio Engagement Photographer}

Jamie met KJ as a little girl going to church with her family. And I say "Jamie met KJ" instead of "Jamie and KJ met" because according to her, KJ had no idea who she was at first. Eventually Jamie's family switched churches and Jamie stopped seeing KJ every Sunday morning. A few years later on Facebook, Jamie stumbled across KJ's profile and immediately remembered the slightly older boy she had a crush on years ago and reached out. After some persistence on Jamie's part, KJ realized what an amazing girl he had right in front of him all along. We shot Jamie's and KJ's engagement session on Saturday at Slate Run Farm in Canal Winchester. Slate Run is always a wonderful location for engagement pictures, but this Saturday it was particularly gorgeous. Jamie warned me ahead of time that KJ was dreading taking engagement photos, but here's the best part, KJ rocked these pictures! He was such a sweetheart doing everything that needed done just out of his love for Jamie. And these smiles? All real. I mean, this first photo below was the first photo I took all day, just testing my lighting. It's always a good sign when the first photo's a keeper =) KJ and Jamie, you guys are the best! I had so much fun exploring Slate Run Farm with you and getting to know you two as a couple. The love and laughter that fills your relationship is beautiful and I am so happy you found each other!
