Rob and Yesh met accidentally at a reggae concert in Columbus a few years ago. I say accidentally because it wasn’t really in their plans, but they met and changed each others’ lives regardless. Neither of them were really sure they were going to go, Rob didn’t even live in the state, and he broke his phone on his motorcycle ride up to the concert. But they met, they exchanged information (with the help of Rob’s iPad), and the rest, as they say, is history.
Last weekend’s session with Rob and Yesh was so much fun. We started out their session near Strongwater Food and Spirits in Franklinton, where we explored the streets and alley for graffiti, factory windows, and other unique architecture elements that section of Columbus, Ohio is known for. Rob and Yesh came in their best attire and I absolutely loved how they pulled out all the stops to look drop-dead-AMAZING for their engagement pictures. Yesh was fierce in a body hugging red dress and Rob was looking dapper in his slick suit.
After we found some gems in Franklinton, we walked a couple blocks to the Scioto Mile to take advantage of the picturesque cement steps and bridges the strip is known for.
We ended the night at the near by Scioto Audubon Park at dusk, taking advantage of the meadow grass and more serene setting for Rob and Yesh’s more laid back outfit. It was the perfect way to end the night.
Rob and Yesh – thank you so much for spending your evening with me! And shout out to Bert, Yesh’s sister who was the most amazing assistant throughout the night!
