Ryan and Ashley’s wedding on Friday was a celebration of their relationship – the joy, tears, and laughter they have shared as they’ve gotten to know each other, overcome obstacles, and enjoyed life together. Throughout the day you’d hear everyone telling stories about Ryan and Ashley. How they met, how it wasn’t exactly love at first sight, but how they fell in love anyway, and how they just belonged together. But the best thing about their wedding day wasn’t in those stories, because it hasn’t happened yet. Ryan and Ashley’s wedding is the beginning of a whole new chapter in their book. These two amazing people who are made for each other will spend the rest of their lives creating memories and telling an endless amount of personal stories. And their perfect wedding will be one of those stories some day.
From the moment Ryan and Ashley arrived at the Church of Messiah in Westerville on Friday, there was laughter. Ryan and Ashley are both fun, amazing people whose sense of humor and playful attitudes make it a joy to be around. Ashley and her bridesmaids filled the morning with Beyonce and Taylor Swift while Ryan and his groomsmen passed the time with games of Hangman and Pictionary.
Everyone in the room was speechless when Ashley slipped on her wedding dress. Her mermaid gown fit like a glove and looked like it was made just for her.
After the ceremony, guests headed to Via Vecchia Winery for cocktail hour while Ryan, Ashley, and the rest of the bridal party climbed onto a trolley to make the trip in style. We stopped at Frank Fetch Park in German Village for bride and groom portraits before ultimately ending up in Via Vecchia’s alley for bridal party pictures.
After cocktail hour was over, it was party time! Ryan and Ashley made their way to the dance floor for one of the most entertaining first dances I’ve ever had the pleasure of witnessing. Passionately singing to each other the entire time made for some amazing facial expressions that they’ll probably need to explain to anyone who sees their wedding photos =D
Towards the end of the night we snuck outside for a couple portraits in the alley outside of Via Vecchia before a sparkler send off capped off the night.
Ryan and Ashley – You guys are the best! Thank you so much for having Blake and I be a part of your special day! I am so excited for you two to begin the next chapter of your lives and I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for you!
Keep smiling!
Kaylina
