After the first look, Zach and Madison joined their Rabbi, immediate family, and bridal party on the back patio to sign their ketubah. While all ketubahs represent the couple who are entering into the covenant, this one was especially significant because Madison made it herself. She painted the ketubah with the seven species of Israel and hand lettered the gorgeous Hebrew script.
When it was time for the ceremony, the guests made their way down to a small platform surrounded by fields to celebrate Zach and Madison officially becoming husband and wife. The ceremony was beautiful and the Rabbi did a great job of explaining each of the Jewish traditions Madison and Zach performed to make each symbolic gesture that much more meaningful.
While the guests enjoyed the amazing hors d'œuvres, Zach, Madison, and their bridal party stayed out in the hot sun to take a few pictures before treating themselves to some well deserved cold drinks.
When the reception finally began, Zach and Madison kicked it off by dancing to Brooks & Dunn's 'Ain't Nothing 'Bout You' as their first dance. From there on out, the rest of the night was about Madison and Zach having the best time with their friends and family. Both Madison and Zach were a part of greek life in college, and their friends did not disappoint in bringing a legendary party to life for Zach and Madison's big day. There were drinking games outside, keg stands after the Horah, and the couple topped off the night by treating everyone to Swensons food truck.
Zach and Madison - thank you so much for having us be a part of your best day ever! Celebrating your love and new life together was so much fun and I cannot thank you enough for being flexible and staying positive when the rain clouds rolled in. You two are amazing and I wish you the best of luck!
Keep smiling!
