David was anxiously waiting on the third floor terrace of the Crown Plaza with his back turned toward the door. Sarah picked her way through the tables and chairs on the deck to her groom and reached out to touch his back. David turned around to see his gorgeous bride and let out one word: “YES!”
Sarah and David’s wedding in Cleveland last weekend at Playhouse Square was the perfect way to spend our Labor Day weekend. And if the OSU game and Drake songs playing while everyone getting ready wasn’t enough to convince me, David and Sarah’s tearful first look sealed the deal. Seriously you guys, these two seeing each other on their wedding day was the sweetest first look I’ve seen in quite a while.
After the first look, Sarah, David, and their bridal party piled into the limo to be whisked away to The Flats for bridal party portraits. Shout out to these beautiful people who put up with sweltering heat, insane humidity, and me shouting directions over the roar of fighter jets and still managed to look amazing.
Back at the Crowne Plaza at Playhouse Square, it was ceremony time. Sarah’s brother-in-law, Aaron, did a great job officiating the ceremony.
After the ceremony, we headed down to the Connor Palace Theater for some gorgeous photos before heading back to the hotel for an amazing reception.
Sarah and David – thank you so much for having Blake and I be a part of your big day! Photographing your wedding was such an honor and so much fun! Although we weren’t fans of the Ohio humidity (we forgot how awful humidity is), you guys made it oh-so-worth-it! I hope you’re having an amazing time in Vegas!
