Brandy and Michael’s winter wedding last weekend was spectacular. A gorgeous ceremony at Immaculate Conception church in Clintonville, a quick stop at their favorite bar, The Blue Danube, and on to a elegant reception at Dublin Embassy Suites. There were (happy) tears, lots of laughter, and hot chocolate. That’s my definition of the perfect day.
We started the morning with Brandy and her bridesmaids at the Dublin Embassy Suites. I loved Brandy’s invitation suite with the subtle evergreen touches, their rose gold wedding rings, and the gorgeous shade of blue Brandy incorporated into her earrings, shoes, and bridesmaids dresses.
Arriving at Immaculate Conception in Clintonville, Brandy slipped into her dress and the bridal suite was filled with squeals of laughter. After a quick first look with her dad and Michael’s time with his mom, Brandy and Michael cleared out the chapel to see each other for the first time in their wedding attire.
Ceremony time! Brandy and Michael’s smiles were contagious at opposite ends of the aisle and only got larger as they grew closer. By the time these two finally said “I do” and sealed it with a kiss, everyone in the church was smiling from ear to ear.
The great thing about early Catholic ceremonies is the chance to get in some quality time with your wedding party before dinner is served. Michael and Brandy decided to take their bridal party to their favorite spot: The Blue Danube. After some celebrating at the bar and some photos outside at the restaurant’s iconic mural, it was back in the limo for some partying.
Next stop: Coffman Park! This park has giant, gorgeous evergreens and beautiful winter wheat that made it the perfect location for a winter wedding photo shoot. Shout out to Michael, Brandy, and their bridal party for braving 20 degree weather for me!
Last stop: back to Embassy Suites Dublin! We still had some time before cocktail hour began, so Michael and Brandy decided to celebrate by jumping on the bed. Love these two, their energy, and their love for each other!
The reception, held in one of the ballrooms of the hotel, was perfect. Beautiful decorations, a hot chocolate bar, and a photo booth that kept everyone laughing all night long were just the beginning. Michael and Brandy’s choreographed first dance and some hilarious toasts just rounded out the night.
Michael and Brandy – thank you, thank you, thank you for having us as your wedding photographers! I am so happy to have kicked off my 2018 wedding season with you two! Your wedding was amazing and so much fun – I wish you guys a lifetime of happiness and fun!
