I’ve never seen two people more excited to get married and start a family than Andy and Becca. When I first met them in a Starbucks in Canal Winchester, I immediately felt the love and excitement between them as they eagerly planned their wedding, their honeymoon, and the beginning of their family and lives together. That kind of enthusiasm is contagious. So naturally, I couldn’t wait to photograph their wedding day last Saturday!
Andy and Becca decided to tie the knot at their home church, Fellowship Baptist Church, in Canal Winchester. As Becca and Andy got ready with the rest of their bridal party that morning, I loved snapping pictures of the beautiful details that made their wedding day unique. The pearl necklace is the same one her mother wore on her wedding day and Becca’s engagement ring will always be timeless and beautiful.
The ceremony inside the church’s chapel was intimate and sweet. Andy was solely focused on Becca as she walked down the aisle to become his bride and Becca’s smile was never bigger than when looking into Andy’s eyes reciting her vows.
After the ceremony, guests were directed down the hall to the reception. Becca did an amazing job transforming the church’s gathering room into a true reception hall complete with a coffee bar for guests to pick their favorite flavors and “let love brew”.
After toasts, cake cutting, and the bouquet and garter tosses, the happy couple left the church through a wave of bubbles and a chorus of cheers from their family and friends.
We finished the day with portraits at Creekside Park in Gahanna, Ohio. With the wedding day over and they honeymoon to look forward to, Andy and Becca were completely relaxed as we strolled through the park taking pictures. I loved the way these two just melted and were truly in the moment with each other.
Did I mention that Becca is gorgeous? Seriously, she absolutely rocked these photos!
Andy and Becca – thank you so much for letting Blake and I photograph your wedding day! It was so much fun to be a part of this chapter of your love story. I’m so excited for you two as you move forward with your lives and start your family!
Keep smiling!
Kaylina
