“Clay and Kait taught me that high school sweethearts do exist in a world where people give up on each other too easily.” Kait’s maid of honor said it best in her toast – Clay and Kait are a wonderful reminder that true love has its ups and downs, but friendship, love, and mutual respect will always win.
Last Saturday at the Olde Gahanna Sanctuary Clay and Kait finally said “I do” after 8 years of growing together and falling in love. The day was cloudy and the forecast said 70% chance of rain going into the day, but the rain held off and Kait and Clay had the wedding of their dreams. Happily Ever Afters do exist.
Before their first look at Creekside Gahanna, Clay and Kait exchanged letters written for each other. At the first look Clay and Kait were both so anxious to see each other. I love first looks not only for the groom’s reaction at seeing his bride, but also for seeing the bride’s reaction too! Clay and Kait were just too adorable!
After bridal party pictures and family pictures, it was finally time for Clay and Kait to officially become husband and wife. And again, Kait’s facial expressions throughout the ceremony stole the show.
Because Clay and Kait got all of their formal pictures done before the ceremony, it was immediately party time! And let me just say, Clay and Kait’s friends and family know how to party. The rest of the night was a whirlwind of amazing food, flowing drinks, and laughter.
Clay and Kait, you guys are AMAZING! It was so much fun hanging out with you for the day and being there to witness you two FINALLY getting married! Thanks so much for having Blake and I tag along and be a part of your wedding day!
Keep smiling!
Kaylina
