Cory made her breakfast in bed and when he went out to the kitchen to get her water, he really slipped out of the house leaving a very exciting note behind. The note let her know that today was the day he was going to propose and that her mom was on the way over to take her to coffee. Throughout the day Amanda received more notes and was joined by more familiar faces as she went from coffee shop, to the mall to buy an outfit and get her nails done, home to get all dressed up, and to Chipotle for a quick meal before the big moment.
Eventually Amanda met Cory at her sister’s house where Cory came around the corner with a kitten named Gage (for engagement) wearing a collar that said “Will You Marry Me?”. If that’s not the perfect engagement story, I don’t know what is. To make things even better, Amanda’s brother in law is a videographer who caught the whole moment on camera.
For their engagement session last Sunday we headed to German Village to take advantage of the beautiful brick buildings, blossoming trees, and setting sun. These two are so much fun to be around – they’re always laughing and playful and never take themselves too seriously.
After exploring a little bit we found an empty parking lot with a gorgeous wall of ivy and after striking some poses, Amanda whispered something to Cory and suddenly she was up on his back. Completely adorable.
These two are seriously too cute and I must say, as a photographer I loved the way that Amanda fit perfectly under Cory’s chin – it’s the little things.
Cory and Amanda – thank you so much for spending the evening with me and being the adorable people you are! I had so much fun exploring German Village with you and I cannot wait until the wedding! Cover Gage with kisses and cuddles for me!
Keep smiling!
Kaylina
