Jordan and Cory met through church. When I asked what first drew her to him she said, “It was his eyes and his voice. I saw him and thought, ‘how have I never noticed him before?'” After initially meeting, Cory and Jordan started making excuses to see each other, mainly through running together. “Which is funny,” she said, “because neither of us really like running.” Eventually, Cory asked Jordan to be his girlfriend at Stauf’s Coffee Roasters in Grandview, Ohio. Then, 1,335 days later, Cory asked another very important question at Stauf’s with the help of his guitar.
With this adorable story in mind, we shot Cory and Jordan’s engagement pictures at Inniswood Metro Gardens in Westerville, Ohio with a couple of important props: coffee from Stauf’s and Cory’s guitar. These two were so much fun to explore the grounds with. They’re sweet and funny and quite literally fit perfectly together. I’d ask them to stand or sit somewhere and they’d effortlessly fall into each other, in picture perfect fashion. Jordan and I teased Cory for being a little camera shy, but in reality, these two made my job so easy.
I loved these outfits during their session, both Cory and Jordan have GORGEOUS eyes and this soft blue brought out their eyes beautifully.
Jordan and Cory, thank you so much for spending your Saturday evening with me! I am so excited to be a part of your wedding in August!
Keep smiling!
Kaylina
