He took her to Cabo and spelled out “Will You Marry Me?” with towels on the lawn for her to see when she looked down from the balcony. Surrounded by family, Josh asked the question that would change their lives forever. And she, of course, said yes. This is just the first reason of many I adore Josh and Katherine as a couple. They are vibrant, friendly, salt-of-the-earth people that spend their time laughing and enjoying life.
I met up with Katherine and Josh at Canal Winchester’s Historical Train Depot for a fun engagement session on a hot and humid Sunday evening. Immediately I could tell that this session would be more about capturing how Josh and Katherine flirted with and loved each other than getting serious, posed pictures. And I’m okay with that, because honestly, how radiant is Katherine when she genuinely smiles!?
We played around on the trains for a little bit and before I could even ask Josh if Katherine was ticklish, this happened…
After an outfit change we had more fun around the train depot’s ticket building. These two were so fun to work with! Any direction I gave them they took and made it their own. When I told Josh to twirl Katherine around, he took it upon himself to dip and kiss her. The best thing about all of these photos is this is truly Katherine and Josh being themselves and loving each other.
Okay, now here’s the real star of the show. Aurora, their precious fur baby, just stole my heart (even when she refused to sit still and look at the camera)! These three make a beautiful family.
Katherine and Josh – thank you so much for letting me capture a little bit of the love you two share on camera! I had such a great time getting to know you two and watching the way you never stop having fun. I am so excited for your wedding next October! Give Aurora a treat and a belly rub for me!
Keep smiling!
Kaylina
