Michael + Brandy: Autumn Engagement Pictures Highbanks Metro Park | Lewis Center, Ohio

Michael and Brandy just might be the cutest couple in the world. When we met at Highbanks Metro Park on Monday evening for their engagement session, I was so excited to see the leaves in their full autumn colors. And when I commented that not only their outfits, but Michael’s beard was coordinated for fall colors, Brandy said, “my favorite person and my favorite season”. They spent the rest of the evening snuggling and just being down right adorable. They made my job incredibly easy and I loved spending every moment with them. I seriously cannot wait for their wedding in February, it will be here before we know it! Brandy and Michael – thanks so much for taking time out of your week to explore Highbanks with me! You two are the cutest and I cannot wait to capture the moment you become husband and wife! Keep smiling...
David + Sarah: Ohio State University Engagement Photos | Columbus, Ohio

David + Sarah: Ohio State University Engagement Photos | Columbus, Ohio

Sarah and David got engaged this past winter on a bench on the Oval at Ohio State University. David had it all planned out, they’d walk around campus together and he’d pop the question at the Whispering Wall at the end of the Oval, by the Wexner Center for the Arts. There was one problem: it was insanely cold and trying to casually convince Sarah to go on a seemingly mindless walk was a little difficult. So he adapted, and ended up asking Sarah to become his wife on a bench near University Hall at the other end of the Oval. And in the end, the exact location didn’t matter, because Sarah and David are engaged and they both describe that day as perfect. For Sarah and David’s engagement session last Sunday, we met at Thompson Library on OSU’s campus to explore the oval, head down to the Wexner Center, and take advantage of the beauty of the Horseshoe. It was a perfect fall night and I had so much fun getting to know Sarah and David. They are so much fun to be around and I cannot wait for their wedding next September in Cleveland. Keep smiling!...
Brian + Abby: Grand Event Center Wedding | Grandview Heights, Ohio

Brian + Abby: Grand Event Center Wedding | Grandview Heights, Ohio

Abby and Brian’s wedding on Saturday was everything that a wedding should be. A gorgeous bride and a handsome groom. Family and friends whose excitement for the couple was contagious. There were smiles and laughter from the very moment we walked in the door to the last song of the reception. Their big day was truly a celebration of an amazing couple and two families becoming one. Brian and Abby did an terrific job of integrating their families into their wedding day. Abby’s sister, Natalie, was their officiant for the ceremony. And small details, like Abby using her mother’s handkerchief, or carrying the pennies that made the way down the aisles of their parents’ weddings with her as she made the way down the aisle to Brian, made this momentous day even more special. Abby and Brian both got ready for the wedding at the Courtyard Marriott attached to the Grand Event Center in Grandview where the reception would be held. After slipping Abby into her dress and getting the boutonniere on Brian, they were ready for their first look. But first, Abby shared a special moment with her dad as he saw his daughter as a bride for the first time. Love, love, LOVE first looks! After portraits and group pictures it was finally time for the ceremony. Abby’s sister did an amazing job officiating the ceremony and Abby and Brian exchanged hand written vows. We had some time after family pictures to sneak away for some sunset shots of just Abby and Brian – officially husband and wife! Abby and Brian’s reception at the Grand Event Center...
Meet Sam: 2018 Senior Portraits | Mount Vernon, Ohio

Meet Sam: 2018 Senior Portraits | Mount Vernon, Ohio

Meet Sam. He’s a super smart senior who is actually spending his senior year taking classes at Mount Vernon Nazarene University. He’ll graduate in the spring and but his brain to great use with his interest in programming, but for now, he’s a senior. And like all senior boys, his mom forced him to endure a senior portrait session last weekend 😉 Sam was a great sport and spent an hour with me exploring the Hoover Reservoir Park in New Albany. I had a great time getting to know him as we walked around the park, sticking to the shade as much as possible because Ohio is still unreasonably hot this time of year. Thanks so much to Sam and his parents for spending their Sunday evening with me. Sam, best of luck next year! Can’t wait to see what the future holds! Keep smiling!...

Meet Grant: 2018 Senior Pictures | Licking Heights High School

Meet Grant. He’s a senior at Licking Heights High School in Pataskala, Ohio. He plays football, runs track, and spends his spare time playing video games (current favorite: Destiny 2). He’ll graduate in the spring and plans on attending Ohio University. I loved spending Sunday morning with him at Licking Heights, exploring the football stadium and the surrounding woods. Grant is easy going and laid back, and because I’m sure this blog post is already going to embarrass him, I’m just going to say it – super cute. Am I the only one that gets a young Matt Damon vibe?! Haha, sorry, Grant! Thanks so much to Grant, his mom, and step-dad for spending Sunday morning with me! I can’t wait to see what the next few years brings to this amazing family as Grant transitions from high school to college! Best of luck! Keep smiling!...
