Over 2,000 years ago Aristotle famously said “the whole is greater than the sum of its parts”, and although I’m fairly certain the Greek philosopher never had the pleasure of meeting Sean and Sarah Easton, I’m also absolutely positive that he was talking about these two. Sarah has the kindest, biggest heart and is the definition of beauty – inside and out. Sean is a gracious, caring man whose charming smile only grows when his new wife appears. Together, Sean and Sarah are even better. I’ve never seen a couple just melt as soon as they saw each other at opposite ends of the aisle like these two did. Their friendship, love, and adoration for each other is intoxicating, and every minute they spent together on their wedding day was pure magic.
We started the day with the girls getting ready at Cheers & Lakeside Chalet in Lancaster while the guys hung out at the Holiday Inn Express in Lancaster.
When it was time to get Sarah into her dress, she transformed into an absolutely gorgeous bride.
Getting brides into their dresses lead to some of my favorite moments. Like the moment a mom sees her daughter as a bride for the first time…
And finally, the moment I always love, the moment a father sees his daughter as a bride…
After everyone was dressed and looking great, Sean joined Sarah in the bridal suite for an intimate hidden session. They stood back to back, holding hands, and read letters they had written for each other. It was an absolutely beautiful moment full of love, laughter, and (just a few) tears.
My favorite thing about Cheers Chalet is this adorable chapel in the woods. I can’t think of a cuter place to tie the knot.
Remember when I mentioned them melting when they saw each other? I wasn’t exaggerating.
After the wedding we headed to Downtown Lancaster for a few portraits where Sean and Sarah showed off their incredible modeling skills. Seriously, these two deserve to be in a magazine.
Back at Cheers Chalet, it was party time.
My second favorite thing about Cheers Chalet? These trees. Photographing Sean and Sarah in the woods was like a fairy tale.
Sean and Sarah – a million thank yous for letting Blake and I be a part of your big day! We had so much fun hanging out and getting to know you two better as you celebrated your love! Thank you for being a couple that risks bug bites and poison ivy for photos – I don’t know about you, but I think it was well worth it!!
Keep smiling!
